In some American school systems, Sex education is offered as a way to promote abstinence. Some educators believe that if students understand the consequences of sex (pregnancy and STDs), they will think twice before getting busy.
This is not the case in Singapore. The Singapore government has recently implemented sex education programs to encourage students to become more sexual. By doing so, the government hopes to increase low birthrates.
Students at certain polytechnics earn two credits toward their degree if they choose to take the elective. Involved in the class are lessons in hand-holding and romantic films. The course is a lesson in seduction.
