I didn't tell my mother and well I only told my friends. Well I don't really have a question I just am kinda scared cause the guy that did this to me I don't even know him. He told me that he was a virgin but I don't believe him and well before this happened I wasn't a virgin so there isn't anything to worry about here. But, he was wearing a condom and well after he pulled out of me his condom fell off as soon as he pulled out I don't know what to think. I have been making myself sick cause I don't know what to do I have been making myself go crazy inside because I have been so scared because I don't know this guy and I keep thinking what if he gave me something...I'm so scared!! So, could you please give me some advice on what I should do...I am getting checked in about a couple of weeks by my gyno and well I took a pregnancy test and it was negative thank god!! I appreciate that you are scared, so my question is, why are you waiting so long to see your gynecologist? Tell the nurse what happened to you and I’m sure they’ll give you an appointment right away. Once you have been checked out, and hopefully find that you didn’t catch any disease, then you’ll feel a lot better, at least about that aspect of the rape.

While I can understand that you might not want to tell your parents, you do need to talk to someone about what happened. There are rape counseling clinics and you should contact one and speak with a social worker. You’ll never forget this incident, but you may need some help in learning how to cope with the memories, so don’t try to do it all by yourself but seek out the help you need. By the way, I’m sure your gynecologist will have some information on one of these rape centers so ask your doctor about it when you go for your exam.
