How can I convince my boyfriend that I love him? |
 I have lived with my boyfriend for over a year. I left him recently and slept with someone else one time.
My boyfriend wanted to get back together and I told him what I did and he still wanted me to live with him again. So I did. Now I am living with him and he is unhappy. He brings up what I did everyday and he can't seem to get over it. He wakes me up every night to ask me why I do not love him. But, I do love him. I try to show him that everyday. Is there anyway that this can be fixed? I want him to know how much I love him but what I am doing doesn't seem to be enough.
 I wish I could say that every story has a happy ending, but that’s definitely not the case, and it may not be the case for your relationship. This relationship can certainly not continue on its present course because it’s not good for either of you. So either he has to agree that the two of you go for some couple’s therapy, or you have to move out. And even if you do go for therapy, if he doesn’t learn to accept what happened, then you’re still going to have to move on to somebody else. So don’t waste even one more day in this relationship as is. Talk to your boyfriend tonight. Tell him that this isn’t working and see if he’s willing to try to fix it. If he isn’t, then accept the fact that this relationship was not meant to be.
