November 13, 2007 - Turkey Day Turn Out |

When it comes to your thanksgiving feast, the turkey is the star of the show. You or a loved one has spent hours stuffing, basting, roasting and watching the bird to ensure its perfection. While this turkey may be delicious, it will inevitably leave you feeling full and a little sleepy. However, what you might not know is that the holiday entrée can get you in the mood.
Wild birds (including turkey) are aphrodisiacal edibles because of their zinc content. Zinc is necessary for good blood flow, which is important for your sexual health. So, go ahead and take second helpings without the guilt. Other aphrodisiacs included in your Thanksgiving feast include cranberries, nutmeg, sweet potatoes and red wine.
By the time your Turkey Day comes to an end, you may be racing from the table and into the bedroom for a little holiday affection. Find your turkey and other holiday recipes at foodnetwork.com .
