September 27, 2007 - Hot and Cold
Spice things up and then cool down by experimenting with temperature in the bedroom. The contrast will shock (in a good way, of course) the body, taking it from one extreme to another. Here are a few ways of experimenting with hot and cold petting.
Hot Mama
-It is probably best to get your partner a little hot and bothered before icing them down. Begin by exploring silicone or glass toys which retain heat when soaked in hot water prior to use. Make sure to test the heated toys on a less sensitive area of your own skin before touching your partner. You may purchase silicone and glass toys at Boudoiressentials.com.
-It may be cliché, but hot wax has been a tried and true method of increasing the heat during foreplay. While a little risky, hot wax can offer an element of sensual surprise if handled with care. Use candles that melt at a low temperature like those made with soy wax. You may purchase a soy wax candle at Candlewic.com.
Frozen Fun
-Sure, you’ve heard of ice cubes as a sexual stimulant. While these work just fine, any chilly object will suffice. Try a bag of frozen veggies leftover in the freezer wrapped in a towel or light cloth. Be careful not to touch an ultra-sensitive area with the frozen item right away. You don’t want your partner to jump in shock and then suddenly become turned off. This is also why it is important to heat up your partner’s body prior to experimentation with icy objects.
