Why does my husband lose his erection during oral sex? |
When my husband and I are getting it on, he has a total erection.
I've been practicing oral sex as I haven't been doing it for long. I’m just a beginner. My question is even though he is still excited, why does he start to lose his erection? Am I not doing it right? He says he likes it when I give him oral, but I have to wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I have read yours and many other articles on how to give oral sex and I'm following every step, but "he does not explode with excitement" or doesn't climax when I perform certain things.
First of all, just because the literature says that a man is supposed to “explode” because he’s getting oral sex doesn’t make it true. Some men do find oral sex very exciting, but that doesn’t apply to every man. Others find intercourse more enjoyable, and then there are men who find masturbation gives them the strongest orgasms. So there’s no on rule that fits every man.
I don’t know if you are acting disappointed, but if your husband begins to feel pressured that he is supposed to be having this very hard erection when you are performing oral sex, then that might be the problem. Perhaps it would be better to start by giving him an erection via oral sex and then switching to intercourse. Slowly you could lengthen the time that you are performing oral sex until he does climax. After that, it might be easier to do.
Finally, some men don’t find oral sex to be something that they enjoy. Perhaps they think it too “dirty” for their wife. That can b especially true if she has become a mother. Or else a man might have had oral sex with a woman in the past that he now associates with bad memories. So while most men do like oral sex, it’s not for every man. Don’t blame it on your technique, which I’m sure is fine, but if it doesn’t work out for the two of you, then say to yourself, “it’s just not meant to be” and leave it at that.
