Sexy is a state of mind. When do you feel your sexiest? Is it when you
are dressed in your best suit or dress hitting the town? Or, for you,
maybe, it's lounging around the house in your most comfortable pajamas
or lacy lingerie.
Sometimes
visiting a museum or going dancing makes you feel sexy. Whatever it may
be, remember that feeling of empowerment you experience when you feel
desired or loved. Sure, material things can make you feel sexy, but
more importantly, it is you that make the items desired.
Sex appeal can be
found in a walk, wink or smile. It is as personal as a fingerprint.
Think about what makes you feel sexy or what turns you on, and practice
these today. Dr. Ruth says sexiness can't be bought or borrowed, but it
can most certainly be shared. Don't hide your sensuality, flaunt it!
Need help feeling sexy? Here are a few suggestions:
- Confidence - Walk down the street with your head held high.
- Kindness - Hold the door open for a stranger or let someone have your seat. Random acts that are unexpected.
- Laughter - Don't be shy, let it be known when you are happy.
- Selflessness - Put someone else's needs or wants first. (especially important in the bedroom!)
- Flirtation - Innocent and harmless flirtation can be as simple as a wink on the train or a love note to your sweetie.
