I think I had an orgasm but I am not sure. Can you help me figure it out? My husband and I were making love, I was rubbing my clitoris which when doing so I can usually have an orgasm. I felt what I thought was an orgasm but I did not come on the inside. It lasted a little longer than usual, but I didn't feel any juices flowing.... I didn't fake it because I felt like I was having an orgasm, but after I wasn't wet. Can you explain?
There is something called a “missed orgasm.” It’s an orgasm that your body undergoes but that doesn’t register in your brain. I’m not sure whether or not that is what happened to you because you say you had an orgasm, on the other hand you say you didn’t fake it, which makes me think that you didn’t react to it in the way you normally might such breathing heavily and making some sounds. The fact that you weren’t fully aroused, which we can tell from the fact that you didn’t lubricate, may have been the cause.
Having a missed orgasm from time to time is nothing to worry about. It happens to many women. You were probably distracted. Maybe something happened during the day that was on your mind and so you couldn’t concentrate completely on what you were doing sexually. Some women always have missed orgasms. In that case, they should see a sex therapist. |
