Not Being Able to Orgasm Is Ruining My Relationship

ImageI have never had an orgasm during sexual intercourse. This is causing major problems in our sex life because he says psychologically he cannot have sex with me even though he wants to. He says that it makes him feel like less of a man and it seems pointless. I try and tell him that it is fairly normal and I still enjoy sex but he does not understand.

Image It’s nice that he wants to give you an orgasm from intercourse, but you’re right when you say that your situation is fairly normal and he is overreacting to say that sex with you is pointless. It’s the overall experience of making love that matters, not how any one partner has an orgasm, and I’m assuming that you do have orgasms, just not from intercourse. The one piece of advice I could give you is try some other positions. One reason that women don’t have an orgasm from intercourse is that their clitoris doesn’t get sufficient stimulation. If you’re having sex in the male superior, or missionary position, your partner is in no position to help stimulate your clitoris. But if you try the female superior position or the side by side, then he will not be leaning on his arms and can use his hand to stimulate your clitoris during intercourse. Now there’s no guarantee that this will work. Some women find intercourse too distracting to actually have an orgasm. But it’s worth a try and if he can give you an orgasm while his penis is in your vagina, even if it’s in a different position that he’s used to, that should solve your problem.
