How Can He Get Feeling Back?

Image My fiancé claims he has no feeling in the head of his penis. He says that it has a sense of pressure, but no feeling of pleasure or anything. I was always under the impression the head was supposed to be the area of most feeling. He says he doesn't remember when it started. It has been like that for as long as he can remember. He has a cyst in his testicle and he has had that for years. He has never told anyone about the lack of feeling. Is it something to worry about? Or is this common?

Image Actually the part of the penis that gives men the most pleasure is the frenum, the area under the penis just behind the head. But just the way there is a great variation in the way women feel about having their nipples stimulated, some finding it arousing, even to the point of orgasm, while some find they get no pleasure or only pain, there’s a great variety on the sensitivity of the penis. And it is also thought that the head of the penis of a circumcised male is less sensitive than one that is not circumcised because it is subject to much more friction and so gets “callused,” so to speak. But the bottom line isn’t where on his penis a man is most sensitive, but if he has enough sensation to cause an orgasm. If he can have orgasms, then what part of his penis causes them is unimportant. If he can’t, and if the problem is physical rather than psychological, then he should consult a urologist. And I certainly hope that your fiancé has consulted a doctor about this cyst.
