I suspect that whatever it is about your personality that made you want to get those nipple rings is expressed in other ways as well, ways that would be somewhat obvious to the men around you including things like the way you dress, the music you like, etc. So I would also guess that any man that was attracted to you would have an appreciation for who you are in total, and wouldn’t be that surprised that you had nipple rings. So I’m not sure that it’s something that you have to explain ahead of time. It’s true there are some men who will get turned off just as there are some who will get turned on by them. That’s a risk you just have to accept. And if a guy sees them and decides that you’re not the right person for him, then that might turn out to be a good thing, because in that case there’s a good chance that you two were sufficiently different that the relationship would not have worked out.

Personally I don’t understand why anyone would want pieces of metal attached to their bodies but if you like them, then fine. The only other thing I would say, however, is that if you found a partner who was absolutely perfect for you, but your nipple rings really were a problem, then you should think about removing them. If you really consider nipple rings to be more important than a person who could share the rest of your life with you, bring you love, raise children with you, etc., then that’s a point of view that you should consider carefully. So would this other person, but a good relationship is a series of compromises and whenever you dig your heels into the ground, you make it more difficult to find one that works
