I found a young woman on a dating site around my age and we talked for awhile online. Eventually I was able to call her. We made plans for a date and met. The meal went fine and at the end of the date, I thanked the girl for the date and I asked if I could see her again.  She told me "yes" and then when I called a few days later, I ended up leaving a message on her phone. 

 Of course, she never returned my call.  The only way these women I meet will contact me is by e-mail, and then they say "sorry," you're a nice guy but it's not going to work, or something similar.  This has pretty much happened with EVERY date I have had. I have had countless dates and I can't even remember how many.  What am I doing wrong that they won't stay with me after one date?  Some of my co-workers who are a few years younger than I are married and have pretty wives.  I seem to get the women who have "a few extra pounds" on them, which I'm not attracted to.  I like the slim variety in women.

Perhaps they sense that you do not really appreciate them because they are a little heavy and so decide not to waste any more time with you. If, for example, you ogle other women while you’re with them, especially slimmer ones who are at the restaurant, that’s going to turn off the woman you are with. That’s just one possibility. Maybe you should go to see a therapist and talk this over. I don’t know enough about your situation to adequately judge what might be happening, but clearly if this has happened on countless dates, then you are doing something wrong, so it would be important to figure out what it is so that you can change your luck.
