I got genital herpes about two months ago and cleared it up with a 10 day course of zovirax 200mg five times a day. I then went for a check up with my gyn. He gave me the all clear, but he did give me a cream for 6 nights as he said that I had an infection. After that, the herpes came back and I took another 5 day course of zovirax. It went away, but sex is painful.
